This week is a bit awkward for a newsletter, especially when mine goes out every Tuesday/Wednesday. Even though this is only my third one, I’ve gotten into a nice groove of working on a draft over the weekend and then refining it on Monday/Tuesday. In this agonizing limbo we are all in this week, I want to talk about something completely different than my usual “line of work”.
not gonna lie this made me cry too just because whenever people seem to “have the least” (or whatever one could think about beautiful souls like your son), it is those few who are capable of giving and receiving the most genuine love out there. they just express exactly how they feel and it’s hard to not be moved when thinking about what you witnessed!
I particularly appreciate when we share the personal with each other, especially now. Lifting each other up right now is everything! Thank you for "getting real" and allowing that space for us too.
